Canceling a Sale

If a customer changes their mind or the transaction needs to be voided before completion, you can easily cancel a sale in progress.


Cancel a Sale

  1. While on the Sales Screen, review the cart and confirm that the sale should be canceled.

  2. Tap the Cancel Sale button located at the top-right corner of the screen.

  3. A confirmation prompt appears asking, “Want to Cancel Sale? Please Confirm.”

  4. Tap Yes to cancel the transaction, or No to return to the current sale.

  5. Once confirmed, all items in the cart will be cleared, and the system will return to a new blank sales screen ready for the next transaction.

Notes:

  • A canceled sale does not affect inventory or sales reports.

  • This action cannot be undone — once canceled, the transaction must be restarted if needed.

  • Always verify with the customer before confirming cancellation to prevent errors.
