Cancel Sale

Use Cancel Sale to abandon the current transaction before checkout. This clears the cart and resets the screen without saving any items or totals.

Cancel a sale:

1. From the Sales screen, review the current cart.

2. Click Cancel Sale on the top menu bar.

3. Confirm the prompt (if shown).

The transaction is discarded and the POS returns to a blank cart.

Note: Cancel Sale is only for transactions that have not been completed.
If payment has already been taken, use Return to process a refund and update inventory.

Tip: Use Hold Sale (instead of Cancel) if the customer plans to come back shortly and you want to keep the items ready.
