Initial Setting

After a successful first-time login, the main POS screen will appear as shown below.
This is the central interface where all point-of-sale operations are performed — including sales processing, returns, customer management, and settings configuration.

On the first launch, the Settings window automatically appears as a pop-up.
This setup allows you to select the Location and Salesperson before performing transactions.

General Settings

  1. On the Settings pop-up, go to the General tab.

  2. Select your Store Location from the dropdown menu.

  3. Choose whether to prompt for a Salesperson during transactions.

  4. Click Save Record to confirm your settings.


Receipt Settings

The Receipt tab allows you to customize how receipts are printed for your customers. You can include essential business details, personalize messages, and choose whether to print a store copy after each transaction.

  1. Open the Settings window.

  2. Click the Receipt tab.

  3. Fill in or verify the following details:

    • Store Name: The official name of your business or store.

    • Terminal ID: The unique identifier for this POS terminal.

    • Address: The store’s physical address.

    • City / Country: The city and country where the store operates.

    • Phone Number: Store’s contact number for customer inquiries.

    • Email: The email used for transaction notifications or customer receipts.

    • Receipt Caption: A short tagline or store description (e.g., Grocery • Pharmacy • Supermarket).

    • Receipt Message: A closing note or thank-you message printed on every receipt (e.g., Thank you for your patronage!).

    • Store Copy: Choose whether to print a store copy of each receipt (Yes – Print Store Copy or No).

  4. Once all information is entered, click Save Record to apply the settings.


Tip:
You can include short promotional messages or loyalty reminders in the Receipt Message field to engage customers and encourage repeat visits.


Hardware Settings

The Hardware tab allows you to configure physical devices connected to your POS terminal — such as receipt printers, cash drawers, and customer displays.

 This setup ensures smooth operation when printing receipts or displaying transaction information.

  1. Open the Settings window.

  2. Select the Hardware tab.

  3. Complete the following fields:

    • Printer Name: Choose the connected printer from the dropdown list.
      (Example: EPSON ET-3850 Series)

    • Paper Size: Select the paper width supported by your printer (commonly 80mm for receipt printers).

    • Display Port: Choose the COM port that connects your customer display device (e.g., COM1).

  4. Once all details are configured, click Save Record to store your hardware settings.


Tip:
If your printer or display does not appear in the list, ensure it is correctly connected and powered on before opening the POS software. You may also need to install the manufacturer’s driver for full compatibility.


Card Reader Settings

The Card Reader tab allows you to configure your integrated payment terminal for processing debit or credit card transactions directly through the POS system.

You can connect supported card reader devices by selecting the provider, host IP, and port settings.

  1. Open the Settings window.

  2. Select the Card Reader tab.

  3. Fill in the following details:

    • Provider: Select your payment provider or terminal model from the dropdown list (e.g., Stripe-TN8423HQ).

    • Host IP: Enter the IP address of the card reader device. (if applicable)

    • Port: Enter the port number used for device communication. (if applicable)

    • Device Name: Choose the connected device name from the dropdown (or click Find Devices to automatically detect connected terminals).

  4. Once the configuration is complete, click Save Record.


Tip:
If the terminal is not detected automatically, ensure it is powered on, properly connected to the network, and configured under your payment provider’s account.

Note:
Each terminal must be configured individually for each POS system. If you replace a terminal, you must repeat the setup steps to link the new device.
